Let’s Talk
Hi, I’m Jack Harper.
Born and raised in rural Scotland, United Kingdom, I grew up around open land, quiet roads, changing weather, and a slower way of seeing the world.
I now live in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, where my wife and I chose to build our family and continue our story in a city full of life, movement, character, and contrast.
I photograph people, places, and the world around us as I find it: quiet, strange, beautiful, awkward, honest, alive.
I have been taking photographs for nearly 20 years, but I think my eye was shaped long before I picked up a camera - by the Scottish countryside, by silence, by weather, by nature, and by the belief that life does not need to be made perfect to be worth remembering.
